Prisoners Abroad is a small UK-based charity dedicated to supporting British citizens imprisoned overseas. We also provide assistance to those affected by imprisonment, and help ex-prisoners start a new life free of crime after their release. For more about what we do, please click here.
We were formed in 1978 when caseworkers for the drugs charity Release, noticed an increased need for support amongst Britons arrested overseas. For more details about our history, please click here.
