Who we are
Prisoners Abroad has a staff team of just 16 people supporting over 2,000 prisoners and their loved ones each year. The team is led by Pauline Crowe OBE, who has over twenty years of experience working in the voluntary sector.
The work of Prisoners Abroad is governed by our Board of Trustees who are legally responsible for the organisation. All members of the board are unpaid volunteers. Our Patrons lend their high profile support to the work of Prisoners Abroad. Many of our Patrons have been involved with us since the formation of the charity 31 years ago. All of our Patrons are listed on this page.
