Individual Giving Manager

£31,935 - £35,053 depending on experience (incl. Inner London Weighting)

Prisoners Abroad is the only charity in the UK caring for the welfare of British people in prison overseas and their families in the UK. We are committed to growing income in order to expand our services and the development of our individual giving programme is at the heart of our strategy to achieve this.

We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to manage this programme and raise the profile of the organisation on-line and via print media. Supported by the Head of Fundraising, the role will be responsible for maximising income from our current supporters and growing income by attracting new regular givers and cash supporters, growing our online presence, developing our legacy programme and working to ensure the highest levels of supporter satisfaction and engagement.  This is to be achieved working across a range of channels including direct mail, on-line and print media. You will also work with the Head of Fundraising to develop and deliver our communications strategy.

Key responsibilities include
•    Development and management of income targets
•    Development and management of donor recruitment targets
•    Creation and delivery of appeals – via direct mail and on-line
•    Press liaison and management of press and marketing agencies
•    Recruitment and management of a new staff post (remit to be decided in consultation with Head of Fundraising) and management of the Fundraising and Communications Administrator

To deliver in this role you will have a track record of success in growing income from individual donors and donor recruitment work. You will also have experience of, or a good understanding of integrating on-line and media communications into your work, have sound creative judgement, strong analytical ability and excellent communication and relationship building skills.
