Whether working with somoneone currently imprisoned, a member of family, or a person trying to rebuild their life; they are there to help.

Meet the Management Team:
Chief Executive – Pauline Crowe
Pauline has almost thirty years’ experience of working in the voluntary sector, including leadership positions with the International Federation of Multiple Sclerosis Societies, the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO) and the London Community Foundation. Pauline is responsible for the governance and achieving the strategic goals of Prisoners Abroad and leads the team of twenty-five staff and many volunteers. She has been Chief Executive of Prisoners Abroad since 2003 and was awarded an OBE in 2007 in recognition of the organisation’s vital work. She served as a lay committee member on the South East London Cancer Network for some years and is currently a member of the Governance & Audit Committee of Sail Training International.
Head of Service Delivery – Theresa Gilson
Theresa has worked at Prisoners Abroad for fifteen years, working her way up from Resettlement Worker to become Head of Service Delivery in 2005. In this role she has lead responsibility for the delivery of all services to prisoners, families and resettlement clients; responsibility for the proactive development of services in line with the strategic plan of the charity; and develops links and relationships with appropriate external agencies, including statutory authorities. Theresa gained a Diploma in Social Work at Brunel University College.
