These annual reviews show you what Prisoners Abroad has been working on over the years. It's an opportunity to hear directly from the people you help and understand the difference you make to the lives of vulnerable people.

Reducing Isolation and Combating Stigma (2015-16)

Reducing Isolation and Combating Stigma (2015-16)

Our most recent annual review focuses on isolation, something that has a detrimental effect on a person's emotional health, confidence and the ability to communicate. This publication tells stories of how isolation greatly affects people in prison overseas, and how with the right support this isolation can be reduced. You can read stories from people we have supported, like Gareth, Catherine, Genevieve and Kenisha. You can also read about developments and trends that have emerged for Prisoners Abroad over the last year.

Protecting Human Rights, Saving Lives (2014-15)

Protecting Human Rights, Saving Lives (2014-15)

This year the annual review featured a collection of moving and inspirational stories from around the world. In conversation with prisoners and their families, four big issues emerged: fighting for survival; overcoming stigma; coping with loneliness and isolation; finding a home - a place to belong.

A Place of My Own (2011-12)

Nothing can convey more powerfully the impact we have or why we are needed than the words of those with whom we work, so in addition to hearing from some of our staff, you will hear directly from Lynne, Margaret and David, who Prisoners Abroad helped.
