Our Finance Assistant job is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to develop their finance skills within a busy and interesting charity. We have a well-established finance function and we now require some additional part time support to assist the Head of Finance.

Previous experience in a finance department is not essential but the successful candidate will need to demonstrate transferable organisational and administrative skills that we can support through training.

You will be the first point of contact for many of the day-to-day queries that arise and the successful candidate will need to be a proactive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in an environment which is varied and busy. The role requires accuracy, integrity, honesty and an individual who is well organised and has excellent computer skills and is particularly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel

We are open to a range of different working patterns and a conversation as to how the 14 hours are worked during the week.

We deliver our services from our purpose built offices that are located a 5-minute walk from Finsbury Park (zone 2) which is 10 minutes from Oxford Circus and serviced by the Overground, Victoria & Piccadilly lines.

This role is initially offered on a one-year’s contract with the possibility to extend. We offer a generous annual leave entitlement and a 6.5% employer contributory pension as well as a range of enhanced benefits.
