There is currently an opportunity for a volunteer to help the Fundraising and Communications Team at Prisoners Abroad, raising awareness and support for prisoners overseas and their families. If you are interested in international human rights and getting experience in the not-for-profit sector then this is the role for you!

About the role:
The role will involve working on a variety of activities, including:

  • Event support
  • Social media
  • Database support
  • Research and writing for funding proposals/blogs/website material
  • Any other tasks reasonably required to support the fundraising team

What you need:
The ideal candidate will be organised, IT literate, have an eye for detail and strong writing skills. It is also essential that you are committed to the aims of Prisoners Abroad.

We can host Volunteer Interns in our office for a minimum period of 12 weeks (but longer ideally) for 2 to 3 days per week. We cannot pay a salary, but we can pay expenses (for lunch up to £7 per working day) plus travel within London.
