Get involved Work for us Individual Giving Officer £30,227 based in London The Individual Giving Officer is a central role within the fundraising team, acting as the first point of contact for supporter enquiries and over time, managing Prisoners Abroad’s Individual Giving programme. We’ve created this exciting new role and are looking for someone with a passion for human rights to grow into it through development, support and training in a collaborative and supportive environment. We expect that you will have 1-2 years of experience in an administrative/ coordinator role within a charity fundraising team, and as such, you will have gained a good feel for how the team runs and the tasks that need to be done. Ideally this experience has been gained within a team where you have been providing supporter care, so you’ve been using your communication skills and gained a really good grounding in how the mechanics of fundraising works and an understanding of what’s important as well as creative flair, a ‘can-do’ attitude, a willingness to learn and be someone who thrives in a team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career by taking a step up in a nurturing environment where you can be more creative, make decisions and work autonomously within a very friendly and supportive team. You will be aware of the systems, processes and components that go into a successful individual giving programme, but you may not have executed them yourself yet or had the opportunity to take this on. We deliver our services from our purpose built, light and airy offices that are located a 5-minute walk from Finsbury Park (zone 2) which is 10 minutes from Oxford Circus and serviced by the Overground, Victoria & Piccadilly lines. We offer 30 days’ annual leave a year and a 6.5% employer contributory pension as well as a range of enhanced leave and as much tea and coffee as you can drink! How to apply: Please send your CV and a covering letter to [email protected] by the closing date of 5pm on Wednesday 26th June. Your covering letter should be no more than two sides in length and should clearly demonstrate how you meet the requirements of the role and the person specification. Please find the job description here. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 9th July.
