Media spokespeople

Prisoners Abroad’s Media team is comprised of four key staff members. They have extensive experience dealing with press enquiries and can provide comments, and live telephone and TV interviews can be organised quickly.

All media requests, including to re-use materials, should be directed to Emily Richards who organises media work on behalf of the Media team on 020 7561 6874 (office hours) or email [email protected]

Please note, we cannot discuss individual cases without the express consent of the individual(s) concerned, but we can offer expert advice on:

  • The conditions of overseas prisons
  • The welfare needs of people detained overseas
  • The needs of families
  • Rebuilding lives through our resettlement service
