The Free Churches Moderator, Reverend Helen Cameron

The Free Churches Moderator has long supported Prisoners Abroad and has attended many events in the past. Helen Cameron, the current moderator, is very supportive of Prisoners Abroad's work and values. She became the Free Churches Moderator in 2022, having previously served as Chair of the Northampton District and Assistant Secretary of the Methodist Conference from 2015-2017. Helen trained as a physiotherapist in Edinburgh with a specialism in stroke rehabilitation and while working in York she candidated for ordained ministry. Helen’s first ministerial appointment was at Longbridge and Frankley.
