Our trained and supportive staff and volunteers are on hand to provide advice and guidance in a group session or in private meetings. Speakers are invited to talk on specific subjects, or to lead a discussion.

You will be assured of a friendly welcome and the opportunity to talk to others in a supportive and confidential environment.  The only information that we ask you to share with others is your first name.  You can ask questions, talk to others or listen to other people’s experiences.

Family Information Days are normally held annually or biannually in different UK cities.  They run from 11am – 4pm. Your travel or childcare expenses can be paid, if necessary. They are held on a Saturday.  Lunch and refreshments are provided.

If you would like to attend a family information day, please contact Alan on call 020 7561 6820 / freephone 0808 172 0098 or email us at [email protected]

People who have attended family information days said:

'I’m not one for this type of meeting and did not want to attend; my wife talked me into it. I found it so good that we have attended more since. It helped my wife and me to be able to talk together afterwards – it broke down barriers.'
